Notes for 2013

  • Send NO payment with application.
  • Changes to Seattle Center may limit some placement opportunities and may offer new placement options. More information will be available with acceptance notes.

Booth Fees

Vendors pay a one-time booth fee, depending on the activity (e.g. information booth fees are $500). No comission is due to Bumbershoot at the completion of the Festival. Vendors are responsible for supplying a canopy and necessary display equipment. Booth spaces are assigned by the Festival. Electricity may not be available. All booths are outdoors. Please indicate on the application the amount of space needed along with all other pertinent information.

Selection Process

A selection committee will review applications and respond by email no later than May 1, 2013. If your booth is accepted, the general vending location may be indicated in the approval letter. Activity booths are sometimes not placed in their final locations until later in the summer. Please include with your application photos of your booth at other events, web links and any references. These will be utilized by the selection committee as they make their final decisions.

Additional Information

If your business is currently licensed in the State of Washington and City of Seattle, please include license numbers on the application; temporary permits will be available for non-licensed vendors.
