Even though the Seattle Intâl Film Festival is over, SIFF Cinema is still going strong as this weekend, June 19-22, they present a selection of award winners and audience favorites known as the Best of SIFF. The weekend will include a little bit of everything: some comedy, drama, family features and of course, the best of the shorts!
Each year SIFF searches the world ‘round to find the best short films for their annual ShortsFest, and the variety brought to the big screen is outstanding. After screening at the film festival, the winners are chosen for the Best of SIFF, which can be seen this weekend at SIFF Cinema, as well as during the 1 Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot!
As you may know, SIFF also works their magic annually collecting shorts for the 1 Reel Film Festival at Bumbershoot, and if the ShortsFest is any indication, the 1 Reel Festival is sure to be deliciously diverse. You never know what cinematic surprises SIFF will bring to the big screen, so be sure to spend some time at SIFF Cinema in McCaw Hall during Bumbershoot weekend!
