This song is a serious paradox. It combines incredibly smooth relaxed delivery, with a scathing indictment of the US government. So smooth, it might be hard for me to politically mobilize when Iâm so chilled out by the laid-back rapping. The beat is southern fried with its harmonica hooks (not a standard hip-hop device, but if this song is any indication, it should be).
