blog Music That Tears Itself Apart: Jason Webley is My Hero
After years walking across continents, Jason Webley is coming back to Bumbershoot! The beloved accordion-toting professional vagabond got his start as a busker on the streets of Seattle in 1998. On-the-fly performances at Bumbershoot back then helped build his almost-cult-like following. Nowadays Jason can be seen on stages around the world with his growling voice, musical madness and over the top theatrics. He is an eccentric man that loves tomatoes, the number eleven, balloons, feathers, and so much more. His eccentricities weave their way into his live performance and music- making dancing, singing, and shouting with joy downright irresistible.
Whether performing his stage-stravaganza or leading a parade through the grounds, Jason Webley will make you remember why you love Bumbershoot. Be sure to see the greatness that is Jason Webley on Monday on the Performing Arts Stage at the Bagley Wright Theater Bumbershoot weekend.
