Fresh Bumbershoot

links The New Impressionism: Chris Jordan will leave you with an Environmental Conscience

Kerfuffle (or The Uneasy Relationship Between Humanity and the Environment) is one of the thought provoking visual arts shows that Bumbershoot is presenting this year in the Northwest Rooms. The exhibit will feature larger than life environmentally conscious photos by Seattle-based artist, Chris Jordan.

Jordan’s works are beautiful compositions that upon closer inspection make a statement about society’s consumerism and wasteful habits. Kerfuffle, through art like Jordan’s, is opening the floor for all kinds of discussions about the human influence on the earth and what that means for all of us.

The Northwest Rooms will be open 11am-8pm all three days of the Festival.

In the meantime, fill your head with the mind-blowing art of Chris Jordan by checking out some of his works and this interview.
