Bumbershoot: Gogol Bordello

To complete the first day of our broadcasts at the Bumbershoot Music Lounge, New York-based gypsy punks Gogol Bordello treated a full house to a relatively stripped down version of their live show, which means it was still a bawdy Balkan pirate adventure, but they just sat on stools most of the time! As the mustachioed frontman Eugene Hütz said, “historically speaking… this is basically a band that plays music around the table” and so “from our table to your table.”
