Bumbershoot: Saturday, the Day Begins

The first day of the Bumbershoot festival has begun with crowds lined up at the gates and sunny skies.

Inside the gates, the stages are still empty…

and a few festival-goers are able to catch a moment to themselves…

while others stream to the Mainstage…

When you arrive, head on over to the KEXP tent, where you can pick up a schedule, KEXP swag, and find out which of our Music Lounge performances are still open…

All weekend, we’re broadcasting from the Music Lounge, a “secret” space that you can still sign up for access to here. While some shows are already full (sorry BRMC and Gogol Bordello fans) but many others are still available. Right now, you can listen in to St. Vincent:
