Announcing... Bumbershoot's Urban Craft Competition
Are you crafty?
Do you rock with knitting needles? Do your recycled magazine mosaics turn heads? Have you found a clever way to repurpose chopsticks, tube socks or your old cassette tape collection? If you have a passion for arts and crafts, then we have a contest for you! Bumbershoot and ReadyMade are teaming up to offer you this great opportunity to do what you love and, if we love it too, we’ll display it at ReadyMade’s Bumbershoot booth. Plus, one grand prize winner will get awesome free stuff!
What you have to do: your favorite craft. BUT… incorporate the word “Bumbershoot” into it however you like. Once you’re done, take a digital photo of your art or craft, and another of you modeling or displaying your killer work. Then, upload to your favorite photo-sharing site and share the links via our competition registration form.
One grand prize winner will receive a pair of Gold VIP Passes to all three days of Bumbershoot 2007 plus two (2) passes to the exclusive, invitation-only Bumbershoot Music Lounge, CDs from select Bumbershoot artists, a one-year subscription to ReadyMade magazine, a special edition of the 2007 Bumbershoot official poster, other 2007 Bumbershoot merchandise, and a special gift bag from ReadyMade! The winning entry, as well as entries that we believe also deserve special recognition, will have the opportunity (but, of course, not the obligation) to send us their craft and have it displayed at the ReadyMade booth at Bumbershoot.
It’s that easy. Do what you do. Put Bumbershoot in it. Send us the photos. Then keep doing what you do!
