06.10.2009 Get Ready for Bumbershoot's Visual Arts!

Art is everywhere… Seattle has amazing art museums, galleries and is even home to a beautiful sculpture park. But we don’t stop there. Art appears on the side of buildings… covering cars… even the doodle you did on your notepad the other day is your take on artistic expression (some of your finest work, by the way). True to the city, Bumbershoot abounds with art both in classic gallery settings as well as unique site-specific installations and spontaneous artistic expressions.

But I’ll be damned if some countries don’t keep putting out awesome bands, one after the other. And this year’s Bumbershoot has some of the best bands the world has to offer. Lucky for you, my dear reader, you have me to guide you through the international milieu and help you discover these superb foreign artists.
