Send a Kid to Bumbershoot
Help to inspire youth with music & art
Bumbershoot believes that all children benefit from discovery and exposure to music and art. A day at Bumbershoot will help to build community, feed the imagination, foster growth, and offer new experiences. Your contribution of just $15 will help send an under-served youth from our community, and an accompanying adult from one of the participating organizations below, to Bumbershoot for a day of exploration, imagination and culture.
About the Beneficiaries
Art with Heart
Since 1996, Art with Heart has been empowering youth in crisis through therapeutic books and programs that foster self-expression. In their Art Buddy program, volunteers from the arts engage youth in a healing journey through the power of creativity.
Arts Corps
Arts Corps was founded on the principle that all young people, not just those with resources, should have access to quality arts learning opportunities. Since 2000, their excellent faculty of teaching artists have been modeling and fostering creative habits of mind in K–12th grade students so that they may reach their full potential. They work with area community organizations and schools to reach as many kids as possible with powerful arts learning experiences. And since Arts Corps believes that every child should have the freedom to imagine and the courage to be, the classes they offer are free.
