Bumbershoot Ticket Info
The Bumbershoot Store Is Closed
Bumbershoot is almost here and we're busy doing everything possible to make Bumbershoot 2008 the very best Festival ever!
Where to Purchase Tickets Now
You can purchase tickets now at select Western Washington Starbucks stores. There are no service fees for tickets purchased at participating Starbucks. Tickets are also available at Ticketmaster outlets. Online Ticketmaster sales have ended.
Getting Tickets at the Festival
For all you procrastinators out there, tickets will go on sale at the Festival at 10:30 AM on Saturday, August 30. You may buy tickets at Seattle Center at only TWO gates. These box offices are located on Mercer Street, between Bagley Wright and Intiman Theatres; and on Thomas Street, just south of EMP|SFM. View a map of the Bumbershoot grounds (PDF) for more information. Gates will be selling tickets for entry only for that day. (No advance ticket sales of any kind.)
Ticket Questions
If you have questions regarding your tickets, please go to our public Will Call at the Mercer Arts Arena. Tickets and passes ordered for Will Call will be available for pick-up on Friday (the day BEFORE the Festival) between 11 AM and 7 PM, or during the Festival (Saturday through Monday) between 10:30 AM–9:30 PM. The Will Call phone number is 206-816-6444, however, please be advised that it will be very busy during this time.
Important Ticket Info
Know which day ticket you are buying? Complete lineup and schedule is available here. Please study the Festival schedules carefully before purchasing day-specific tickets. Note that tickets are good only for the date specified on your ticket. All events are subject to change or cancellation at any time with no notice. There are NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES, even in the event of an artist cancellation.
Festival tickets do not guarantee entry to the evening Mainstage shows. Entry to evening Mainstage shows requires a separate free pass obtainable while supplies last at information booths on Festival grounds. You must present your Bumbershoot Festival ticket stub to receive a Mainstage pass. One Mainstage pass per person/ticket stub will be issued. The Mainstage venue has a limited capacity and all passes are on a first come, first served basis. Come early to secure your Mainstage entry pass.
Kids, Seniors & Patrons with Disabilities
A Special Entry (discounted) ticket for seniors 65 and over, patrons with permanent disabilities, and kids aged 6–10 (when accompanied by a paying adult) will be available only at the gates during the Festival for $15, and ONLY the day of the event (no advance ticket sales of any kind). There is free admission for children 5 and under all weekend. All children aged 10 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Note: A form of personal identification noting a permanent disability is required. This can be a King County "Access" pass, bus pass, parking certification or other government issued identification. Please note that this price is only for the patron with permanent disabilities, and is not available for any companions or escorts. Seniors may be required to show government issued ID.
